I know I am so far behind on this. Ever since my vacation in the first week of May I have been so over loaded with things. Job applications for new posistions at work... that I didn't get. Trying to get my house cleaned so we can have someone come in and see whats up with our air conditioner. Trying to spend more quality time with Jeff.
I promised a giveaway would start once I hit 40 followers back in April during my A to Z Challenge to help me get to 50 followers. Well I got to 44 followers... I've lost two of them but we are still on for the giveaway. I will post pictures of the prizes once I get around to loading them on my computer. These prizes are a set of black hot pot holders my sister made just for this giveaway and 8 skeins of yarn I recently got for free! I may even throw in something extra as a surprise! On to the rules!
1. Since my sister, Kari, made one of the give away items, I will ask that you become a follower of her blog Kari's Kuddly Kreations.
2. You must be a follower of my blog.
3. Leave a comment sharing with me the thing you love the most about your craft and please include your email address so I can reach you if you win.
This giveaway will run until I hit 50 followers, so spread the word!

Hi Sarah! What I love most about crochet is that it's pretty much my only creative outlet at this point in my life. The rest of my time is consumed with work and kids and household yada yada yada--all very repetitive and draining. Crochet makes me feel good!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am a follower of both you and Kari.

Well I don't think I can enter, but I love crochet because its relaxing. I actually used crocheting to stop smoking almost 2 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI follow both of you!
ReplyDeleteI love the variety of crocheting--there's so much you can do with just a few simple stitches, different sizes of hooks, and incredible varieties of yarn.
Thanks for the chance to win!

I have been crocheting since I was 5 years old. It is the first needlework my Grandmother taught me. I later learned to knit, quilt, needlepoint, and any other creative forms she thought we would enjoy and help us in life. I have been
ReplyDeletereading and enjoying your blog and Kari's. I am
always happy to see what others are making.
I am a beginner crocheter. I learned a few years ago, and have been trying ever since to make things as time allows. I started making a very simple afghan for my brother as a housewarming gift when he bought his house a couple of years ago...it's not even half finished yet :) I pick it up when I get a chance to work on it, but it just never seems to get any closer to being finished!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I follow both you and Kari.

I actually found Kari's blog through you ages ago and have been following her, but just realized I had your blog in my feed reader but wasn't actually "following" you!! The thing I love most about crocheting is that it is relaxing. It's definitely my de-stress activity:)
